HOD Message 

The Department of Kinesiotherapy & Physical Diagnosis is a well-equipped laboratory with various therapeutic gymnasium equipment.

This Department helps the students to have a Sound knowledge of basic biomechanics, use of gymnastic equipment in therapeutics, clinical reasoning which is based on the problem with clear evidence-based approach. The students are given opportunity to learn about the physiological adaptations and exercise prescription.

The Department of Kinesiotherapy and Physical Diagnosis plays a crucial role in physiotherapy. Kinesiotherapy involves the therapeutic use of exercises to improve strength, flexibility, and overall functional capacity. Physical diagnosis focuses on assessing and diagnosing musculoskeletal conditions and movement disorders.

In physiotherapy, these departments collaborate to design tailored exercise programs based on a thorough physical assessment. This approach helps address specific issues, such as musculoskeletal injuries, neurological conditions, and rehabilitation after surgeries. Physiotherapists work on enhancing mobility, strength, and coordination, while physical diagnosis specialists contribute to accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

Educating patients on proper body mechanics, posture, and techniques for injury prevention and self-care.

Conducting thorough physical examinations to diagnose musculoskeletal issues and develop tailored treatment plans.

  • Progress Monitoring:

Continuously assessing progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
