DPCOP offers a Bachelor of Physiotherapy undergraduate course.
This is a 4½ year course, that falls under the category of an Allied Health Sciences course. The student is finally awarded a degree of Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B. P. Th.) by the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.
The student undergoes mandatory 4-year classroom teaching and supervised laboratory and clinical training, at Dhole Patil College of Physiotherapy. The student follows the syllabus set by the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, during these four years, to complete the curriculum of the undergraduate course.
The student is required to appear for theory and practical examinations at the end of each year. On successful completion of these examinations, the student undergoes the mandatory 6-month rotatory internship in various clinical departments in the hospital set-ups. The 6-month internship is in accordance with the guidelines issued by MUHS.
On completing the internship, the student is awarded the degree of Bachelor of Physiotherapy by Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.
